Investor Relations - Vice President (remote)

FNK IR is seeking a highly motivated individual with at least five (5) years of relevant experience to develop and implement strategic investor relations programs for a group of clients (public companies and going-public companies).
​
This role will lead and help grow interesting and challenging accounts across our business. The candidate should have demonstrated experience developing and executing investor relations programs or first-hand experience interacting with investors from a sell-side or buy-side perspective. The ideal candidate must possess strong account management capabilities and superior client relations, presentation, and oral and written communications skills.
​
Experience working with technology, media, internet, consumer, and/or industrials clients is a plus but not mandatory.
​
We are seeking someone with an entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to work as a part of a team, who will be expected to provide counsel, strategy and support for FNK IR clients. Working closely with staff at all levels, the right candidate must be a relationship builder and dedicated team player as well as exhibit strong working knowledge of the capital markets.
Primary Responsibilities:

Developing and implementing strategic investor relations programs for a group of clients

Introducing clients’ stories to investors and analysts to build awareness and interest, address questions, and arrange meetings/calls with client management teams

Interacting regularly with client management teams to provide counsel

Interacting with investors and analysts to discuss client developments

Drafting and editing quarterly earnings news releases and conference call scripts, as well as other corporate announcements

Developing and editing PowerPoint investor presentations

Working with the administrative person on your team regarding clients’ IR calendars, websites, issuance of news releases, email list maintenance, investor conferences and conference call logistics

Developing and distributing regular reports to clients on activities, focused on agreed-upon metrics and, where possible, involving the Board of Directors

Desired Skills & Experience:
-
5+ years of experience employed by an investor relations firm, and/or working in sell-side equity research or institutional sales, ideally including experience with small-cap companies

Bachelor’s degree in Business/Finance/Accounting or related discipline preferred

Understanding/interest in finance and the capital markets

Strong analytical skills; ability to analyze and understand businesses in different industries

Strong writing skills, including experience writing financially-oriented news releases and presentations

Experience and comfort interfacing with CEOs and CFOs

Organized and detail-oriented; ability to multi-task effectively

Strong interpersonal and verbal skills

Capacity and interest in working in a team environment, while also being proactive and self-motivated, and able to work well independently

Ability to think critically and demonstrate good judgment

Adept at Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
