Greg McKinley
Director, Investor Relations

Greg is a capital markets professional with over 25 years of experience spanning buy-side investing, sell-side research and corporate development. He provides strategic counsel to FNK IR clients, helping companies refine their investment narratives, enhance financial communications and expand visibility within the institutional investor community. He maintains strong relationships with a broad network of investors, as well as the research and banking community that supports them.

 

Prior to joining FNK IR, Greg was the Founder and Principal of Asymmetric Research & Management, an asset management firm investing in underfollowed small- and micro-cap companies. Earlier, he was a Senior Research Analyst at Granite Point Capital Management where he focused on public and private equity investments.

 

Previously, Greg served as Head of Equity Capital Markets and Senior Research Analyst at Dougherty & Company, where he led the firm's research, investment banking, sales, and trading efforts. He also held equity research roles at Piper Jaffray, further developing his sector expertise and institutional investor relationships. During his tenure, he covered a wide range of consumer and industrial companies and received multi-year nomination votes to the Institutional Investor All-America Research Team across numerous sectors.

 

Greg began his career in public accounting at Arthur Andersen and later held a corporate development role at Best Buy.

 

Greg received his BA in accounting from the University of St. Thomas and is a CPA (inactive).
